We approach our missions from an Acts 1:8 model. Acts 1:8 says, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” This gives us three areas to concentrate on, local (Jerusalem), regional (Judea and Samaria), and global (to the ends of the earth). Locally we support many ministries in Salisbury. We also are involved in our local public school by giving books to each student through our Noisy Offering, and supplying uniforms and gift cards for their clothing closet. Regionally, we send out youth and adults on mission trips to areas of North Carolina and neighboring states. Globally, we are a half partner for a group with Zoe Empowers. Our Zoe group, pictured below, will come out of extreme poverty over the course of three years by learning how to do for themselves. We feel called, as a congregation, to be the hands and feet of Christ for Salisbury, North Carolina, and the world.
